Moe Babysitting Lisa

I really wish there would be The Simpsons episode where Moe was babysitting all the Simpsons kids, it would be so fascinating! I doubt there ever will be an episode like that so I decided to do my own fan art about that! I made four watercolor paintings with that theme. So here's the first one: Moe and Lisa! Well, there has been some interactions between these two characters, at least in Moe 'n' Lisa and in Homer The Moe episode and they seem to get along quite well! Both are quite misunderstood individuals! I can see Moe playing chess with Lisa since he's a bartender and probably knows all traditional bar games quite well...(at least he can play poker, eheh) in this pic he looks like he knows what his next move is xD (at first I thought of painting Moe having a desperate look on his face but then I decided make them both good chess players ) I hope they would more episodes focused on Moe and Lisa, they make an interesting duo! :>

It was such a pain to paint that chess board with watercolors...it doesn't have accuracy but oh well, watercolors aren't for little details in my opinion. I suppose Lisa could be the easiest to babysit since she's so independent and nice. Except if she's having some sort of identity crisis (like she sometimes has, poor girl!).


Inspiration behind this idea is from my absolute favourite The Simpsons episode "Moe Baby Bues", it's just so perfect in every way and it's so heart-warming yet super hilarious at the same time! I just really love the bond between Maggie and Moe :'3
